These terms apply when you use songlymusic.blogspot.com (the “site”). If you do not agree, do not use the site. The Privacy Policy and Disclaimer are part of how the site works; read those too.
What this site is
Songly Music publishes original commentary about songs and artists, and embeds lyric videos. It is a blog and media project, not a label, not a streaming service, and not legal, medical, or financial advice. Features are editorial opinions, not paid reviews unless a specific page says otherwise.
Your license to use the site
You may read pages, watch embeds, share links, and print a page for personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape the site at scale, republish our original writing without permission, impersonate Songly Music, or interfere with ads, security, or other readers.
Intellectual property
- Our writing, layout, logo, and original graphics belong to Songly Music unless noted. Ask via Contact before reuse beyond fair quotation.
- Songs, recordings, lyrics, and official videos belong to the artists, writers, publishers, and labels. Embeds and short quoted lines are for commentary and discovery. They are not a license for you to copy the song.
- YouTube players are Google’s. Their terms apply when you press play.
Comments and submissions
If you leave a comment or send a song via the form, you grant Songly Music a non-exclusive right to read it and, for comments, to display it on the page. Do not send material you do not have the right to send. We may refuse or remove comments that are spam, illegal, hateful, or off-topic. A submission is not a promise we will write about your song.
Advertising and donations
The site displays Google ads. Ads are not endorsements. Optional PayPal donations do not buy coverage and are not tax-deductible unless we later register as a charity and say so (we have not).
No warranty
The site is provided “as is.” We try to keep names, titles, and links accurate; we do not warrant that pages are complete, uninterrupted, or error-free. Artist pages and streaming links change without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Songly Music is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from your use of the site, ads, or third-party sites we link to. If a court finds us liable anyway, our total liability related to the site is limited to the amount you donated (if any) in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
Third-party links
Posts link to YouTube, Spotify, artist sites, and social networks. Those sites have their own terms. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination page.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. If you keep using the site after an update, the new terms apply.
